Huel is a nutritionally complete powdered food. It's been formulated by a renowned nutrition expert to include the perfect balance of carbs, fat, protein and fibre with all the vitamins and minerals your body needs. You can replace all your food with Huel, but most will only replace one or two of their meals. See full nutritional profile here.
Huel Powder comes in a variety of flavours. Here is our current range, in order of popularity:
Vanilla - a firm favourite in the Huel community. A deliciously light and sweet Vanilla flavour on an oaty base. Huel Vanilla is also the best base to add any flavour you want. Add coffee and ice, blend in fruit, or try our range of Flavour Boosts. The possibilities are truly endless!
Berry (New) - the latest addition to the Huel Powder range and already our customers’ second most popular choice. An oaty flavour base with sweet strawberry, raspberry, and blueberry.
Original - the original Huel flavour. A light vanilla and oaty taste.
Coffee (New) - real roasted coffee with a hint of vanilla. Note: it contains caffeine.
Unflavoured & Unsweetened - Huel Powder without any flavour or sweetener. On its own, it has a very earthy, chalky taste, so suits those people who prefer to add their own sweetener and flavours, or simply to be used in savoury recipes. If you intend to try Huel for the first time we highly recommend you start with Vanilla, Berry or Coffee.

Quite simply, yes. Just like any food, it all comes down to calories:
Eat more calories than your body uses, and you will gain weight.
Eat fewer calories than your body uses and you will lose weight.
Approximately 3500 calories equals 1 lb of fat. Therefore, eating a deficit of 500 calories per day should see you lose about 1 lb of fat a week and vice versa.
With Huel it is easy to know exactly how many calories you consume, you simply weigh the powder, then calculate how many calories are in it. The co-founder of Huel, James Collier BSc (Hons), RNutr's Guide to Fat Loss and Guide to Weight Gain are fantastic aids to your goals as well.
You can find out more about how many calories your body needs with this online calorie calculator.
Huel is generally best enjoyed cold; it’s particularly good with a few ice cubes thrown in! Huel can be drunk warm however, and is a great way to warm up on a cold winter’s morning. We don’t recommend using boiling water though, as this may affect its nutritional profile. To avoid this, boil the water and let it cool, or simply mix it with cold water before adding it to your Huel.
