Limit Seeker Fund Terms & Conditions

1. By submitting an application for the Limit Seekers Fund, all entrants agree to these terms and conditions.

2. Entrants must be aged 18 or over and a resident of the United Kingdom.

3. Huel reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants. If a successful entrant is found not to comply with these terms and conditions, they may be disqualified by Huel at Huel’s sole discretion.

4. Entry is free and no purchase is required to enter. To enter, individuals must complete the application form at http://huel.com/limitseeker-apply. A shortlist of finalists will also be required to attend a finalists day at Huel’s HQ (Unit 6 Icknield Way Industrial Estate, Icknield Way, Tring, United Kingdom, HP23 4RN) on a date to be advised by Huel where the finalists will meet the Huel team, present their proposed Limit Seeker challenge, participate in a content shoot and compete in a campaign-related challenge (the “Finalists Day”). Only one entry per person will be accepted. If an individual submits more than one entry, only the first entry will be accepted.

5. Entries will only be accepted between 00:01 (GMT) on 03.04.2025 and 23:59 (BST) on 09.05.2025 . Entries submitted outside of this period will not be accepted.

6. All entries will be reviewed by a dedicated in-house team at Huel. Huel is looking for people who are prepared to undertake a challenge of their choice that demonstrates dedication to pushing their personal limits and which aligns with Huel’s brand values. Further judging criteria will include:
   a) the applicant’s social media following and engagement levels;
   b) the extent to which the challenge involves overcoming personal fears or limitations, demands a high level of skill, is novel, requires intensive training and dedication, requires a significant lifestyle change or sacrifice, and has the potential to inspire others; 
   c) the length of time needed to complete the challenge;
   d) the preparation time needed for the challenge;
   e) the required budget for the challenge;
   f) the applicant’s willingness to document the challenge and engage audiences; 
   g) the applicant’s creativity with regards to captioning content; and 
   h) the applicant’s performance in the Finalists Day (if applicable). 

7. Huel will select up to three winners to receive:
   a) a share of the £100,000 campaign fund as set out below;
   b) support and advice from Huel’s nutrition team;
   c) a reasonable provision of Huel products, to be agreed between Huel and the winner depending on the requirements of the winner’s challenge; and
   d) a nutrition plan provided by the Huel nutrition team, tailored to the winner’s challenge (together, the “Benefits”).

8. Winners will be notified by 17.07.2025 via email. The winners must comply with any further instructions provided by Huel in this notification and respond within 14 days of receiving this notification. If a winner fails to comply with such instructions and/or respond within this time period, Huel shall have the right to disqualify the winner from the campaign and select an alternative winner.

9. The campaign fund of £100,000 will be shared amongst up to three winners. The allocation of the campaign fund amongst the winners will be determined by Huel based on the requirements of each winner (which Huel may require evidence of) and the number of winners chosen. Huel’s provision of the Benefits to each winner, and the terms and timing of Huel’s payment of the campaign fund, will be subject to each winner agreeing a separate sponsorship agreement with Huel. If the terms of such sponsorship agreement cannot be agreed between Huel and the winner, Huel reserves the right to disqualify that winner from the campaign and either select an alternative winner or reduce the number of winners. The decision to award the Benefits is entirely at the discretion of Huel, and if there are no entries that Huel considers to be suitable, Huel shall have the option to not award the Benefits or to reduce the value of the Benefits (including the campaign fund) to be awarded.

10. The campaign fund may only be used by each winner in support of their Limit Seekers challenge as agreed with Huel and for no other purpose. Huel reserves the right to reclaim a winner’s share of the campaign fund if Huel determines that the campaign fund is being used for other purposes or is otherwise misused.

11. Winners are prohibited from obtaining additional sponsorship from any other nutrition or food and drink brand for the duration of their Limit Seeker challenge, and for three months before and after their challenge commences.

12. Each finalist and winner agrees to participate in a content shoot during the Finalists Day and in further press and media activities in relation to their Limit Seeker challenge as required by Huel, and agrees that this content may be featured in the media.

13. Each entrant agrees that Huel, Huel’s affiliates and retailers of Huel products (together, the “Licensees”) shall have a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, sublicensable, royalty-free right to craft, edit, distribute or otherwise use their name, image, likeness, quotes and statements captured through photographs, video and other media during the Finalists Day and any other content that the entrant produces or is featured in in relation to their Limit Seeker challenge (including as part of the application process). The Licensees shall have the right to use such content on all of their channels including social media, emails, website, press and in-store advertising for marketing and other business purposes. Each entrant shall procure any third-party rights as necessary in order for them to be able to grant such rights to the Licensees, and warrants that they have not previously assigned, licensed or in any way encumbered the right to use such content as envisaged in these terms.

14. Each entrant and winner waives any right to royalties or other compensation arising from the use by the Licensees of any content that the winner produces or features in relating to this campaign.

15. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Huel shall not be responsible for any damages, injury, death, claims, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses related to the undertaking of the applicant's personal Limit Seekers challenge. Each entrant’s choice of activity for their challenge is solely at their discretion, and all responsibility for the activity lies with the entrant and not Huel. In addition, Huel shall not be responsible for any dietary or allergy requirements of successful entrants. It is the sole responsibility of each entrant to make sure they can safely consume any Huel products provided to them as part of their Limit Seekers challenge.

16. Huel reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or to withdraw the Limit Seekers fund. Any changes or cancellations will be published at https://huel.com/limitseeker.

17. Huel may use your personal data to contact you for administrative purposes in relation to the Limit Seekers campaign. Entrants agree that Huel may carry out criminal record and background checks prior to the Benefits being awarded. If an entrant fails such checks, they will not be eligible to participate in the Limit Seekers campaign and will not be awarded the Benefits. 18. The decision of Huel regarding any aspect of the Limit Seeker campaign is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
