Huel Ready-to-drink contains less than half the sugar as this lunch option, because sugar is a key component of hoisin sauce. As well as being low in sugar Huel Ready-to-drink has a low GI of 25 so the carbohydrates as digested and absorbed slowly over time.

 

Huel Ready-to-drink contains more protein than a hoisin duck wrap and is also a complete protein source which means all the essential amino acids are provided in sufficient amounts.

 

Huel Ready-to-drink is also high in vitamin D and K, which together, amongst their varied roles, contribute to the maintenance of normal bones.

Like all the selected lunch options Huel Ready-to-drink contains around half as much sugar as a feta, pomegranate and harissa wrap.

Huel Ready-to-drink also contains half as much fat and salt while containing a third more protein than this wrap. Due to the ingredients used this wrap is relatively high in fibre but Huel Ready-to-drink still contains more fibre per serving.

 

 Some people may point towards vegan foods being low in B12 and iron but this is not an issue for Huel Ready-to-drink which is high in both micronutrients.
